Sales Account Manager; Home-Based Covering Southern England territory; up to £40K plus Bonus and Car
A leading manufacturer and merchant of a range of specialist chemical additives that are used widely within the ceramics, coatings, paints and plastics industries is recruiting. This organisation is today one of the world leaders within it’s sector and manufactures in 2 continents, they are looking to strengthen their UK operation with the appointment of a Sales Account Manager to take responsibility for business development with their South of England region.
This role will involve manging existing customer accounts and identifying / building new customer relationships. The majority of the working week will involve arranging and attending meetings at customer’s premises, working towards performance measures of attending a target number of weekly appointments and growing the turnover of the South of England region. It should be noted that, 1 day per week will be required to be spent at the office in Stoke on Trent too.
Applicants should have a scientific background ideally in the field of Chemistry, this would ideally be at degree level, but could be from alternative education or from the work environment. Importantly applicants should have experience of, or enthusiasm for, sales and business development as this is a largely independent role requiring a pro-active nature and competitive drive. A full driving licence is also required.
